The Other Me

We are going through a time in which the social tissue has deteriorated and where personal contact poses a risk. Post-modernity and technological developments has created an individualistic, self-centered and digital society. The Pandemic Crisis further increased people's loneliness and isolation. In our times, the video calls replaces personal meetings and people we are destined to be locked up at home. The Other Me is the one that lives in social networks, the second me, my digital clone who lives my second life in the Web. 

Estamos atravesando un momento en el que el tejido social se ha deteriorado y donde el contacto personal supone un riesgo. La posmodernidad y los desarrollos tecnológicos han creado una sociedad individualista, egocéntrica y digital. La Crisis de la Pandemia aumentó aún más la soledad y el aislamiento de las personas. En nuestros tiempos, las videollamadas reemplazan las reuniones personales y las personas que estamos destinadas a estar encerradas en casa. El Otro Yo es el que vive en las redes sociales, el segundo yo, mi clon digital, el híbrido que vive mi segunda vida en la Web.
